NFB of NC:
It has been due to the personal relationship between Daniel Davis and
McHenry's office that we have him signed on for TEACH.
This shows how our advocacy works!
Daniel did his Senior project on the 2014 Washington Seminar. He helped
make most of the appointments and was, in fact, the de facto leader of our
NC delegation during this year's Seminar.
We owe him a great debt of gratitude.

Subject: good news
Congressman McHenry cosponsored the TEACH Act over the recess. Woo hoo! I
believe it was your personal advocacy of Krista and your relationship with
McHenry that brought him on. Every Republican matters, so thank you so much
for your work on this! If only they all were this easy. J
Cheers,
Lauren

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
