Karen, I am very interested in the camping info for August.
Can you tell me who to get in contact with, and do I have to find my own way
there from Lincoln?. From Laurie Jacobsen

Meeting Notice for JUNE

Hi all, So sorry I will miss this one but I have to work again. One thing
that I would like to pass along is that the Black Hills Ski for Light offers
a summer program at the Bob Marshall campground near custer South Dakota .
We have a lot of fun fishing, staying in rustic cabins and doing outdoor
activities such as volleyball and horseshoes. We also do kiaking and paddle
boats and just generally have a great time. We eat a lot and the cooks who
are volunteers do an awesome job. They will even cook your fish that you
catch.but you have to clean them. The event is the 23rd to the 25th of
August. The cost is $25 and that is everything included. You bring a
sleeping bag and your fishing pole. Just thought I would pass this along as
it seems to apply to the conversation of the next meeting. See bhsfl.org

Hi to all

Notice for JUNE

Hi you all!

RE: This is your reminder of our June meeting; Sunday the 16th

June will be our sixth monthly phone meeting for 2013. The topic for this
month revolves around how blindness can or does not have to have a negative
impact upon engaging in outdoor activities. Examples are --- camping in the
wilderness, fishing, picnicking with family, golfing, grilling, working in
the yard or gardening, bicycling, and much more.

Though the number of participants was small, our May meeting with the topic
of National Convention, was lively. The people present were: B&B Loos of
Lincoln, Bob Riley of Fremont, Nancy Oltman of Hastings, Melvin Of
Gordon, and me, Robert from Omaha.

The time for the call is 6:00 PM Mountain and 7:00 PM Central.

Bring your Brags & Drags.

The phone number you will call is: 1-218-339-2699

                        access code: 203747Pound

See you all there!
