> Many of you know her from her service as the President of the NFB 
> Seniors Division.  Others may know her from her time in Maryland, 
> Louisiana, Connecticut, Virginia, or other places she spent 
> significant time helping blind people live the lives they want.  She 
> touched so many lives, shaped so many lives, had a tremendous impact 
> on so many.  She shared with several of us in her last weeks how 
> important it was to her that the world understood that blind people 
> can live full and productive lives.  She wanted that message to be her 
> legacy.  I think that legacy lives on in the thousands of people for whom
she made that concept a reality.
