Greetings Lincoln Chapter Members and Friends!

The NFB of Nebraska Lincoln Chapter picnic will be held this Saturday,
July 15, 2023! The picnic will be held in conjunction with a brief chapter
meeting. The picnic will start at 11:00 a.m. The location is Robert's Park
at 58th and Sumner Streets in Lincoln.

This year the chapter voted to have a food truck at the event! However,
there has been a slight change and the food will be catered by Hog Wild
instead.  There is still no need to bring any food or paper products;
everything will be provided from

Hog Wild Pit BBQ <https://lincoln-cornhuskerhighway.hogwildpitbbq.com/>

Each person is asked to pay $10 to cover the cost of food with the chapter
covering the remaining cost. Ten dollars will get you a choice of two
meats, three sides and a drink. Please bring exact cash to expedite the
process. Checks can also be made out to NFBNLC.

Come join the Lincoln Chapter for a day of food, fun and Federation
fellowship!

Outdoor games will be available as well as a chance to take a spin on a
tandem bike. Playground equipment basketball courts and restrooms are
located right next to the picnic shelter. Walking/driving directions are
listed below.

The side of Roberts Park where the activities will take place is on 58th
Street between Franklin Street and Sumner Street on the West side.

Driving Directions:

>From South Street, go north on 58th Street two blocks. Just before Sumner
Street, there is a parking lot off 58th street. You may park in this lot
and take the sidewalk from the parking lot to the shelter.

The sidewalk curves and twists, so just keep the grass on your left and
follow it around. The first opening you come to will be the water fountain.
Continue on the sidewalk and the next opening on the left will be the
shelter.
