For those of you who didn't get my lousy written interpretation, that
was supposed to be a Ryan Seacrest quote.
So it is that time again, ladies and gentlemen: the time to be
thinking of brilliant, breath-taking, brash, brazen, and other
adjectives starting with "br", songs to perform for the third annual
NABS Idol competition! Just a few things to consider when picking your
selections:
1. We've put a 5-minute time limit on the songs this year.
2. The price is $5 per performer per song.
3. When you send your song info to me, please include the artist and
title, as well as if you want to do it with a karaoke track or a
cappella.
Just one more thing: I realize that some of you may be apprehensive
about participating in this because you're self-conscious of looking
stupid. So here's the deal. If 20 acts sign up by the week before
convention, I will personally perform a Britney Spears song. In its
entirety. In my flawless Britney Spears impersonation. Can you look
stupider than that? I don't think so!
