[Nebraska-students] requesting technology

Hey guys, it's AlliI hope everyone is having a fantastic summer!  I recently wrote two letters to my counselor requesting an iPad for school use from the commission, and just heard back from my counselor saying she supported my request.  She said that she would forward it on.  My instructors allow us to bring laptops to class, but due to my physical limitations a laptop is far too heavy for me to carry in addition to my books.  My instructors talk so fast that I have a hard time keeping up and have to scribble in my notebook in order to do so.  When I do take notes in my classes my writing is so bad that it is hard for me to make out what I wrote down to study later.  My mom also wrote a letter to try to help me get the iPad.  So I was wondering if you guys knew much about the process and what the next steps would be that I'd need to take in order to get the iPad.  My counselor said I'd need to meet with the tech staff, do you guys know is that to get training on the iPad or something else?
