We are exactly three weeks away from arriving at the NFB national
convention! Review the following information to make sure you are
up-to-date and keep a look out for emails over the next couple of weeks with
important information!

The agenda is coming out soon and will be part of the next round of
convention details. But you can begin preparing for various activities
including the Rookie Roundup, NFB Camp and NFB Career Fair

Before the start of convention. Also plan to attend the Rookie Roundup on
Tuesday, July 5th from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
President Riccobono and many Federation leaders will be on hand to welcome
you to the convention and preview the week's activities.

The NFB Career Fair is scheduled for
Wednesday, July 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The 6th Annual National Association of Blind Students Walk-a-thon will be
held on
Thursday, July 7th from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
The event is simple:

Then share your page with friends, family, and colleagues, not only will you
be raising money for our transformational organization, but you will also
have the chance to win big. Our top fundraiser will win a cash prize, and
anyone who registers and raises at least $25 is entered into a drawing for a
$50 gift card. Plus, team up with up to 4 total people to compete for a
pizza party courtesy of NABS! Lots of walking is inevitable at convention,
so why not turn those steps into dollars!
A proposed amendment to the constitution will be voted upon during
convention. Read the text of the

in the June 2022 Braille Monitor, so you can be prepared to make an informed
vote.
Keep in mind: all convention attendees will need to test negative for
COVID-19 prior to being admitted to convention activities. Test results can
be sent in advance via email to
<mailto:testresults at nfb.org> testresults at nfb.org
and the email should include your full name as registered.
Tests can be taken up to 72 hours before checking in at the hotel but not
earlier than that. Test results can be submitted when they are available or
can be shown in person. On-site testing will be available starting on July
4. A wristband will be given to those who have submitted negative test
results. Registrants who do not have a wristband will not be able to receive
registration materials.
