Dear Federation Family,
I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits. As your president, I am thrilled to share some highlights and reflections from the incredible time we had at the National Convention last week. It was truly a memorable event, filled with learning, exploration, and camaraderie.
Our Nevada delegates did an outstanding job representing our state, and I couldn't be prouder of their efforts. They engaged with various groups and divisions, gaining valuable insights and contributing to the dynamic discussions that shape our movement. Their enthusiasm and dedication were palpable, and they certainly made Nevada shine on the national stage.
One of the most exciting parts of the convention was the sports and recreation division event, where some of us embraced the challenge of climbing the climbing wall and even tried our hand at axe throwing! It was a fantastic opportunity to bond with fellow members and push our boundaries, all while having a great time.
The National Convention is more than just an event—it's a powerful experience that deeply enhances our understanding of the Federation's mission and goals. I genuinely hope that every member of our Federation family will have the chance to attend in the future. The connections you make, the knowledge you gain, and the inspiration you draw from this gathering are truly unparalleled.
I can personally attest to the transformative impact of the convention. I have attended every single year since my first, and each time, I return with renewed energy and a deeper commitment to our cause. I wouldn't miss it for the world, and I encourage you all to make it a priority in the years to come.
Thank you for your ongoing dedication and support. Together, we are making a difference and moving closer to achieving our shared vision of equality, opportunity, and independence for all blind individuals.
Warm regards,
Mark Tadder
President
