March 1 - 3 will be our Albany Seminar. We will meet, once again, at the Red
Lion Hotel, 205 Wolf Rd. in Albany. Rooms are $99/night and reservations may
be made with the New York Affiliate by emailing president at nfbny.org
<mailto:president at nfbny.org>  or calling 716-222-3632. The Red Lion provides
complimentary shuttle service from the Albany Airport only, Not from the bus
or train stations.

 

We will meet on Sunday, March 1st at 6:00 pm for dinner and discussion about
our issues. At this meeting we will discuss each of our issues and answer
all questions as well as plot strategies to advance our agenda.

 

Monday, March 2nd and Tuesday, March 3rd we will descend upon Albany and
make our voices heard with regard to our New York State Legislative
priorities.

 

Monday evening we will once again meet for dinner and to recap the events of
the day..

 

We should be done by around 2:00 pm on Tuesday so plan your travel
accordingly.

 

So, what do we need from those attending?

 

1. Which nights will you be staying ($99/night) The deadline for
reservations is February 15, 2020.

2. Who are you sharing a room with?

3. What do you want to eat Sunday (Beef Stroganoff -or- Baked Cod with
dill-lemon cream) $35

4. What do you want to eat Monday (Chicken Valdostana -or- Stuffed Pasta)
$35

5. How will you be paying? (cash, check, Paypal) 

 

Limited financial assistance is available through the affiliate. The FINAL
deadline to request funding is January 22.

 

Let's make 2020 OUR year to really change what it means to be blind in New
