[New-York-News] Bronx Bus Network Redesign Project: Public Hearing Announcement: February 20, 2020

Hello,

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) proposed a Final Plan to redesign The Bronx Bus Network to make service faster and more reliable.  We are holding this public hearing to gather comments about Local, Limited and Select Bus Service.  Implementation of the Bronx Bus Network Redesign is currently targeted for fall 2020.  Changes to Express Bus Service are postponed.

The Bronx Bus Network Redesign Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at The Bronx Museum of the Arts, located at 1040 Grand Concourse, South Wing, Lower Gallery.

The hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m., with on-site registration to speak from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Those wishing to pre-register to speak, can submit your request by calling 646-252-6777 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.

Directions by subway: B, D, 4 train to 161st Street - Yankee Stadium; 4 train to 167th Street.  By Bus, the BX1, BX2 or BX32.

Accessibility and Interpreter Services - This Public Hearing has been scheduled at a fully ADA accessible location. American Sign Language and Spanish interpreter services will be available.  Additional language interpreters will be available upon advance request of registration no later than February 14, 2020 by calling the Public Hearing Hotline at 646-252-6777 from 6 AM to 10 PM daily.
