The FMDG Music School is hosting two sessions of an Open House next week. Would you be able to disseminate or share the flyer below within the NFB community? We have been very energetic in coming up with new and innovative ways to introduce and study the arts. We are offering short term (5-6 weeks) classes for those who cannot commit for a long time. 

The flyer is attached below to the email. I am including a link to a NY Times article about one of the classes we offered this past semester. You probably got our virtual holiday card – I hope you gave it a listen. I have attached it as well.

Join 'The Fil' Music School for two very special Open House sessions

Sunday, January 10th at 3 pm

and

Wednesday, January 13th at 7 pm

The Music School staff have specialized experience working with students who are blind or have low vision. Listen to presentations about braille music, the production of braille music and large print music, and demos exploring accessible music technology as well as individual instruments including guitar, piano, woodwinds, voice, and drums. 

The sessions on January 10th and 13th are an opportunity for you to meet our teachers and administrative staff, and learn about special 5 and 6-week classes for the spring 2021 semester.
