The NFB believes that blind should be used everywhere we can get it used.
We believe that most of the more complex words are chosen by folks who are  afraid of the word blind.
This goes all the way back to the 1960s, and the speech
"A definition of blindness".
If we cannot  control what someone like a museum uses,
I do not know which I suggest.
For myself, I really do like Blind.
