I just received a response from Jay Caldwell the General Manager of
Caldwell Toyota. He was very apologetic and acknowledged that the advice
they received from their insurance company was not well thought out. They
are changing their policy going forward and he plans to advise his
collogues of the unintended consequences such policies may have.
I forwarded his full email to Donna.
