[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Successful Saturday

It's Successful Saturday!  Have you started or finished a project, or
achieved a goal?  Share it with us and we'll celebrate with you. 

 

I finished the hat that is most of my cow costume.  Thanks ReNae for the
advice about crocheting horns.  I did one point-down, and the other base-up,
and they're both similar, though I think the point-down horn was easier to
make. 

I attached the ears and horns with buttons.  Some of the buttons are faux
pearl, so my cow will be dressed for the evening.  

When I'm done with my costume, I will remove the ears and horns and create
other things to button on, like roses, snowflakes, pinecones, leaves,
butterflies . anything that takes my fancy.  I think it will be a fun hat. 

I'm making an I-cord tail too, and I'm going to put a tassel on the end.
Then it's done!  And just in time, too.
