Hi Tracy, maybe he thought that you wanted the lid in the ladies room?

Thanks. These are all good ideas.

I'll hunt around to see if I have a rubber band that will fit, and, if I
don't, I'll use the masking tape idea.

The dog is fine. He enjoys chewing things, but he doesn't eat what he bites
off, just strews it around. He's totally on my bad list. We'd just come in
from a walk, and, instead of lying down to rest, when I left to use the
facilities, he jumped up on a table and grabbed the lid, instead of keeping
4 on the floor and grabbing one of the many toys all over the place.
Stinker.

Tracy

After glueing your pieces together and making sure everything is aligned
properly, use masking tape to tape around the entire lid. I would let it sit
for 24 hours before removing just to make sure the glue is completely dry.

First of all and most importantly to me is the dog alright? I hope and pray
that he or she didn't get any splinters in his or her throat or mouth.
Please keep a close eye on him or her, o k?

How about rubber bands to hold the lid together while it dries.

My dog decided it would be amusing to take the lid off a wooden box and chew
on it while I was in another room.

I can glue it back together, I think, but I'm not sure how to hold it
together until the glue dries. The only glue I have is craft glue, the kind
people here have recommended.

The lid is rounded on the top and has a rim that stands out from the base,
so that it fits well on the box.

Anyone know how I can hold the lid together while it dries?

Tracy
