Good Morning Tracy, my Mom who was an avid knitter told me that it is not a
good idea to mix different brands of yarns, but, I am thinking about what
you just said about the different texture.

I'll have to give that a try with either four ply or class five weight
(Chunky) yarns.s

Subject: [NFB-Blind-Crafters] Yarn for throw

I am picking out yarn for my friend's throw today while it's on sale. I'm
thinking of mixing 2 brands of yarn. Feels Like Butter sounds nice, but
doesn't have all the colors I want. But I could make it the main yarn, and
then make the bit with the logo she wants with Vana's Choice, which has more
colors, including the right logo color as best I can tell. And it would
make that part stand out tactilely too, being a different texture, probably.

I could make the whole thing with Vana's, but it will take 9 skeins, while
only 6 of the Butter. Butter gives me more bang for the buck.

Thoughts? I'll probably do my buying some time this afternoon.

Tracy
