I highly agree with you, Becky!

The simble in the middle should be in the solid and then it will stand out
or in the verigade and the rest in solid!

It is your choice!

Terry

If I am understanding right, both yarns sound like they are multi colored.
If so, think further about doing that. You don't want a circus gift, unless
that is exactly what you want. If you do a variegated and a solid, I
personally think that looks sharper. And more professionally done.

Some yarns wash up differently. I made an afghan when I was a teen that
shrunk in some places and the thinner yarns got thinner. I know this is not
your first Rodio with yarns. Guess I am speaking more to younger less
experienced. Check what is in the yarns and match that. Then make a swatch
and wash it as per cleaning instructions. Just to make sure the work is not
ruined with the mixture of yarns.

See what happens when you are sleep deprived. You sound grumpy, giggle.

I am picking out yarn for my friend's throw today while it's on sale. I'm
thinking of mixing 2 brands of yarn. Feels Like Butter sounds nice, but
doesn't have all the colors I want. But I could make it the main yarn, and
then make the bit with the logo she wants with Vana's Choice, which has more
colors, including the right logo color as best I can tell. And it would
make that part stand out tactilely too, being a different texture, probably.

I could make the whole thing with Vana's, but it will take 9 skeins, while
only 6 of the Butter. Butter gives me more bang for the buck.

Thoughts? I'll probably do my buying some time this afternoon.

Tracy
