This is Joanne Jordan here. I am very sad and grieving over the death of
Joyce Kane. I went to national conventions with her. I lived in
Massachusetts at the time and she lived in Connecticut. We met at the same
stopover airport on our way to national convention. I don't remember what
airport but I think it was 2008 and 2009 national conventions. I was in the
room when this division began. Joyce was a joy to be around and I always
wanted to be with her. She was the type of person that all of us look up to
and aspire to be. That is what we can all get from Krafters Korner. I have
asked questions here and had them answered in a way that I can understand.
We the blind always have the battle every day of proving ourselves to our
friends and families! That's is why this division is so important and so is
the NFB.

I have a questions which I will send in a separate e-mail, but I'll ask
Tracy and it will go out to the all the list!

Joyce really struggled after the death of her dear husband John. She sent a
joke that he made out to the list. I'll see if I can find it, but this was
Joyce!

We can all stick together and comfort one another at this time and always!
Joyce Kane is one of my mentors!
