[NFB-Blind-Crafters] Seam Allowance Techniques

Hello all! I’m in need of some advice. 

For sewing. I’m adding a seam allowance to a home drafted pattern. My instructor uses a clear drafting ruler to do the markings. But I can’t see that. What might be a good blind alternative?

We’re using tailors tacks to mark darts. But the seam allowances and marking is a challenge. 

Any suggestions?
