I began learning at the Perkins School For The Blind when I was a participant in their Early Intervention program. My braille skills improved when I was in elementary school.

Today I am taking Braille classes through Hadley Institute for the Blind/VI. I have glaucoma an I am planning on becoming an paraeducator of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers who are blind and Visually Impaired with a focus on braille. Braille is great for me in case glaucoma becomes progressive. Braille has made me more confident in myself as a Visually Impaired person! I can say I love braille very much!
