I have the one from Humanware and when this happens I hold down the power button for about 20 seconds. I don't know if that will help any\\.

Hi, folks.

I just got my e-reader from NLS, and can’t get it to turn on!  It’s the one from Zoomax.  I got it plugged in and fully charged, and pressed the Power On button, as instructed in both the quick start guide and user manual, but absolutely nothing happens, no sound, no Braille, no nothing.  Can’t find any info on troubleshooting or tips and tricks, and my State library is closed for the holidays.  Just wondered if this was a common problem, and if anybody has any suggestions as to how to fix it.  Thanks in advance for any help.
