[NFB-Braille-Discussion] Janus Slates

If you take the index card out, make sure you put it back in the same way,
before writing on the other side. The Janace slate is an interline slate,
which means that the front and back lines don't overlap. There are six lines
on one side and five on the other.

The only way to write over yourself is if you insert the card back in the
wrong way around. Experiment with writing on both sides without removing the
index card in between.
Cordially,

Ellen

All,

I have a Janus slate, but it doesn't work as intended. Adding dots to one
side nullifies the dots on the other. Is there a trick to it?

Sanho
