Hello Keitei.
I would also recommend the things Tracey discussed in her message.
Once you obtain a batchlor's degree, another program you may consider
is offered each summer and is run by Northern Illinois University and
the Helen Keller national Center. It's a distance ed program with a
hands on component at HKNC in New York. While it won't teach you
everything, the program is worth 15 or 18 graduate credits and is a
good way to start gaining other experience. I'd recommend asking
around though, I haven't taken the program myself, just presented to
the participants in the past 2 years.
Another resource that can give you some insite is a book by Theresa B.
Smith entitled "guidelines: Typs for Working and Socializing with
deaf-blind people".
I think this should be enough to get you started. If you have any
further questions, or comments, feel free to reply on or off list to
me privately.

take care,
Scott
