I would agree, so if I have a vote it would be to vote at home, using my own technology, using tools I know how to do. Of course I know this would be complicated too. Only persons who can medically show that they are disabled, deafblind, should be given a secure method of doing this. In other words, I do not think it should be open to the general population. This could be as simple as submitting paperwor. Getting a passwrd, username and a ID number to sign in to an accessible website.

If I had my second choice, it ouwld be a voting booth, that is in a quiet corner, with a braille display. If they really wanted to get techie they, the voting equipement could be similiar to an Idevice, with a touch screen, but connected to a braille display. Nor would I want the general population to have access tot hat braille display. In a quiet corner, with little noise.

By allowing us to vote from home via the Internet, you are allowing us the independence to use which ever technology is best suited to our needs. In addition, many Deaf-Blind don't like to deal with crowds of people where the back ground noise is so loud you can not understand what is being said to you with your implants or hearing aids. This environment is not friendly to the hearing impaired. Nor is it friendly or accessible to some one who uses sign language and can not see. Are there interpreters at the polls? Nine times out of ten there is not. Let us vote from home with our own technology.
