Greetings, I'm new to this group.

In regards to the question about accessible voting, I am sure we all want
the easiest method from which to vote, but that is not always the most
safest way. When it comes to voting we must safeguard our privilege to vote by
maintaining a paper ballet with every electronic vote cast. You can all
already vote at home with absentee ballot and scan it to read and mark your
choice and print and return it before the designated time. If you want to
go into the polling place you can have your paper ballot filled out in
advance and take it in to put it in the box. Electronic voting must always
have a paper trail since we all know there is wide spread fraud. If you want
accommodations request them in advance in writing, such as an interpreter.
The electronic machine at the polls had difficulty pronouncing the names
and it was difficult to understand. Fortunately I remembered my choices
that I had chosen before I went into the booth. It seems reasonable to
request in advance a braille copy that has print on it. But how would you answer
it and how would they be able to count it? The machine would have to have
refreshable braille as well as voice and mark a paper copy.

Blessings all,

Cheri fields
