A group of young colleagues and friends who happen to be deafblind have come
together and formed an organization called Deaf-Blind Citizens in Action.
These are young adults that are passionate, not only about the dignity of
people with disabilities in the U.S., they are seeking to support people
with disabilities all around the world. Several of these young leaders have
traveled to other countries to be a part of education or humanitarian
efforts. Some were born in other countries and have been advocating for the
rights of children and adults who are deafblind in the United States.

Mussie Gebre, the organization's President, has written a beautiful letter,
as a petition.

Will you stand with them? Will you consider signing and sharing this
petition?

It is also planned that another member, Tyler Samuel, a talented young opera
singer from Tennessee will personally visit Senator Corker's office to
advocate for this important and symbolic document.

The UNCRPD carries the spirit and the intent of the ADA to the world
community.
