[nfb-db] new member

Hey Trish, the nfb db division meeting is the national deaf  blind division 
meeting.  They meet once a month on a conference call to  discuss how we 
can help deaf blind in our "Operation Outreach".  We try to  get the word out 
to all the NFB affiliate states that they have blind members  who have 
hearing loss.  We want to let everyone know that there is a  program offered by 
the federal government that is administered by each state  agency that is 
called iI Can Connect.  The program gives free equipment to  any deaf blind who 
financially qualifies equipment like iphone, ipad or laptop,  or note 
taker.  Yes, I have lousy balance and neuropathy in my feet and  legs with no 
diabetes

division on April 2 at 8:00 p EDT.  I also have optic neuropathy.  It seems to

I’m  Trish.  I live on Long Island.  I wear a CI on my left ear and a  
digital hearing aid on my right.  The HA is new.  Got it this past  January from 
Helen Keller National Center.  I have auditory neuropathy  and optic 
atrophy. 
I  have a friend who lives in Peachtree, GA.

Hi  Maryann,  I am Cheri from Florida, welcome.  We have a member on  the 
nfb db division who is from Lousianna.  Her name is Cathy  Miller.  She is 
president of her chapter there.  Ask around for  her at the convention.
