Wow!  The tuition has increased since I went to HKNC in 2011!  Yes, it is
very expensive.  It ws $800 a week in 2011.   But like I said the training
is well worth it!  As the training is specifically tailored for your
specific needs.  You aren't place in a group like a class, you are trained
one on one.  

As far as I know there is nothing like this in Florida, I knew there wasn't
in 2011...but maybe things have changed.

Delencia,
I learned at HKNC that certain breeds of dogs works for those who are
allergic to dogs. Not all dogs are one and the same. In fact, one staff
instructor at HKNC uses a guide dog. But because she's naturally allergic to
some breeds. She acquired a breed that she is not allergic to. You would
probably need to talk to folks over at Seeing Eye Institute or whatever
guide dog training facility, on what dogs that might be best for you.
Personally, I do not have a guide dog myself yet. Maybe someday in the near
future I will acquire one for myself.
