[NFB-DB] New Siemens hearing aids but is hearing like this normal for this brand?

So yesterday I finally got for now, one Siemens hearing aid since money
is tight, thus my family can't afford the pair; I have a loaner Siemens
one on my right ear, while my family sees how to afford the other one,
but would like to ask you'll if this is normal with the Siemens brand?
The thing is with the loaner one, everything sounds just great! but on
the left one, which is the one my family bought yesterday, the
high-frequencies sounds like weird! For instance we have pet canary, and
I can't hear out that aid when it sings; my ear isn't the problem
because with the old hearing aids, I could hear the bird perfectly well!
Also when one swipes shoes or sandals on the floor (here in Mexico most
of the houses don't have carpet in them) out of the right hearing aid
(the loaner one) sounds just fine! but out of the left one I can hardly
hear it! Is this fixable, or is this because of the hearing aid model?
Also because later on (probably next month or so) I'll have the other
hearing aid, should I wait and then go to adjust them both, or go this
week and have the adjustments made on the left aid?
How can I explain to the audiologist so that he can understand what I'm
experiencing? Is this going back for adjustments normal when getting
new aids? because I've never had to go back since generally, the aids
are adjusted just right.
Thanks for info.
