Hi, I would strongly recommend get your finances allow it to book from
July 6 to July 13. That way you won’t miss one moment! Because
traditionally the meetings of the deaf blind division are not only on
division meeting day. And depending on what profession you are involved
in and were wish to be in, there are seminars that you might find very
helpful.
Is this your first national convention? If so, go ahead and ask
questions and I’m sure someone will chime in. This list has been
virtually dead for the past few months it seems, though some activity
will be helpful.
In general, convention goes like this meetings days one and two and half
of day three, then general session goes for the last three days of the
week. Adjournment comes at the end of the banquet. I hope this helps?
As far as the agenda that won’t be published till probably early June.
Also online registration I believe opens March 1. Hotel reservations are
open right now.
Just for the record I’m not a division official I’ve just been to a
lot of conventions. Also I’m hoping that this response helps you out?
Sincerely, Maurice Mines.
Amateur call, kd0iko.
VP national Federation of the blind of California Bakersfield chapter.
