Scott,
Did you investigate this option "131papp" any further? I would be very
interested to know more.
Thank you,

Subject: Re: [NFB-DB] Zoom Question
Hi David and thanks for reaching out!
I concur with both Tai and Rox. CART is more useable by most braille
readers, and I personally prefer it over Zoom captioning for the reasons
already mentioned. Though I can keep up with the captions, like Rox can,
it's far from a leisurely undertaking. The platform I've seen used before is
called 131papp, I will have to look up the spelling. It's my understanding
that captioners can use this platform and that it is not service provider
dependent, though I still need to investigate this further.
I personally, thank you both for caring enough to put this access together
for your state convention, and also for asking DeafBlind users for their
perspective.
Best,
Scott

We will be using Zoom.

deaf-blind people could follow the Zoom-provided captions and transcripts,
or if you would prefer CART services which you would display/read in a
separate window.
