Hi Dale;

The only thing I can recommend, is search for change system sounds, that should bring you to the sound settings in control panel.
locate the playback page, select your speakers or realtech audio, or what ever your default sound card is, and choose properties.
When in properties, go to the advanced page, and their will be a list of sampling rates, if the sampling rate is greater than 44100hz, ajust it it with the arrow keys to be 44100hz, also, make sure the resolution is 16 bit, then tab to apply, and press space, then shift tab to ok, and press space again.
You may get a warning that the sound device is in use and asking you if you want to continue, just say yes to that.
Sometimes when these computers ship, they are set to a fairly high sampleing rate because other devices are able to support higher quality audio, unfortunately, when hearing aid manufactures add the bt capability, they may not consider supporting a higher samplingrate other than 44100hz.
Let me know if that fixes the problem.

Subject: [NFB-DB] performance of computer - hearing-aid pairing
________________________________________________________________________________

I'm trying out a new pair of hearing-aids that can Bluetooth pair directly with other devices. They work fine with my Android phone, but the performance with my Dell Inspiron laptop is way unacceptable.
A pairing should work or not work, no?
Does anyone here have a helpful tip?

Thanks
