Thank you, Penny.

For those who may not be aware, there are two separate "world conferences" focused on the needs of deaf-blind people.

DeafBlind International 9DBI) is a professional group largely focused on issues relating to the education of deaf-blind children. I have attended three of their world conferences.

The World Federation of the Deafblind is an organization of the national consumer organizations from around the world. Their conference is known as the Helen Keller World Conference. They primarily focus on issues faced by deaf-blind adults. I have attended six of their conferences.

This is meant as information only. If I am off, please do correct me.

Rod Macdonald

> Penny Leclair here. I know the links do not work when I copy this text. I am on the planning committee for the next 18th conference. I have lived in Ottawa for 20 years. I live about 2 hours away from the city now. So if anyone wants to know more just ask.
