Thanks Marsha,

So far any time I've attempted to use a white cane with my rollator, it goes flying and I spend more time trying to find it than making any progress with where I'm trying to go.  It would be great to hear more details about how your mother does it.  Are there detailed descriptions on the video?  If so, I'd like to hear the video.

Take care,
Tony

Both myself and mother have this issue in addition to having some hearing loss. We both use a large wheeled Rollator walker that also has a seat. My mother and I developed a video on YouTube that shows how she uses her walker and a long white cane. If anyone is interested, I can share that here. In some cases when I am super dizzy and having a lot of pain, I will use a wheelchair.
Hope this helps.

Does anyone else deal with severe vertigo while also using a white cane?

Usually I can get around a bit with a support cane in the left hand and a white cane in the right hand but that doesn't always work especially when my tinnitus decides to declare war for days at a time.

I tried using a four footed cane for more balance but that just causes me to trip myself up more than the vertigo already does.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Take care,
Tony
