Good morning Rod and all.

I an Kacie Weldy have Usher 2A and I work for HKNC as a DeafBlind Employment Specialist. My passion is advocating with my peers for our needs.

With this training, for the individual that is interested in participating and needs in person support, reach out to to your HKNC regional rep and let them know you need this support and that you want to take part in this program.

HKNC has provided this support for other programs such as this or was able to assist the person using TASL access by setting up the needed in person interpreter.

So to answer your question, yes, they have been working on this piece. We as DeafBlind also have to advocate for our needs by speaking up.

Hope you have a wonderful week!
