You're Invited!

Forum: "Introduction of Tactile Currency in America"

In support of efforts to convene stakeholders to create awareness of,
educate, and provide relevant input for recommendations and action, the
National Council on Disability (NCD) is privileged to host a forum in
collaboration with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the Federal Reserve
Board, and the U.S. Secret Service on the development and distribution of
tactile currency in the United States. Since 2008, the Department of the
Treasury has been working to provide meaningful access to U.S. paper
currency for persons with print disabilities. This forum will include
remarks regarding the design, production and distribution of tactile
currency, and a panel of representatives from each agency will engage
invited guests in dialogue through questions and comments.
