    Subject: National Federation of the Blind of New Hampshire State 
Convention


Please share the following information with anyone you feel would benefit:

The National Federation of the Blind of New Hampshire welcomes all
interested parties to its 55th annual state convention!  The
convention begins on Friday, the 15th of April, 2011 at 12:00 Pm, with
an exhibitor hall featuring several different groups including the
Veterans Administration of Vermont by its  Visually Impaired Services
Team coordinator, Lisa Erlich, as well as Bobby LaChance, the
president of the “Through Our Eyes” writer’s group and anthology; the
exhibitor hall will be followed by a presentation by Anne Nelson,
re-enacting the work of Fanny Crosby, a historical blind person from
the 1800s, who taught at the New York school of the blind; the
presentation will be followed by several meetings, such as the student
division of New Hampshire.

Saturday will host various speakers, including Dr. Mark Maurer,
president of the National Federation of the Blind, Ron Gardner (also
from the National Federation of the Blind, representing Vermont), Lisa
Pharlick, Bobby LaChance, Bill Fin from the New Hampshire state
Vocational Rehabilitation, and many others.  The event finishes with a
banquet dinner compliments  of Nonni’s Italian Eatery, during which we
will award scholarships to two distinguished students from New
Hampshire.

or (603) 992-4053 – between the hours of 9:00 Am and 9:00 PM Sunday
through Saturday – to reserve your banquet ticket or register in
advance!  Banquet dinners are $35 (which includes tax and gratuity),
while registration is $5.00 at the door or you can pay in advance by
mailing a check to Ron Ferguson, New Hampshire state Treasurer for the
National Federation of the Blind at 100 Base Hill Road, Keene NH
03431.  If mailing a check, please make it out to NFB of NH Inc.
