Good Morning,

I am passing along information from the Lions Knights of the Blind on their
first event for the Lions calendar year.  On behalf of Ho`opono, I would
like to thank the Lions Knights of the Blind, especially Sharon Ige for all
the work she has done the past three years for coordinating these great
events for the blind and visually impaired.

 

Our First Knights of the Blind Event!

 

What:  Come join us and enjoy a local play by Hannah Il-Epstein called
PAKALOLO SWEET

 

Play Summary:  Junior Boy is a young Hawaiian man who comes from a lineage
of marijuana growers and is now proudly expecting a baby with his
girlfriend, Nani. During a night of karaoke, beer, and weed, the medical
uses, benefits, and cultural aspects of marijuana in pre-contact Hawai'i are
explored. 

 

Where:  KUMU KAHUA THEATRE (46 Merchant Street)

 

When:  Sunday, September 16, 2018.  Please be at the front of the theatre
promptly by 1 pm.  Theatre staff will be there to let you into the theatre
before general opening and introduce the production to VIP guests.  The play
will begin at 2 pm and end by 3:15 pm.

 

Cost: Group rate price is $15.  Your price is $10.  Your ticket will be
subsidized by Knights of the Blind fund.
