[Nfb-history] Looking for Audio of 2002 Banquet Address

Hello Ed and listers,

That video and the 1969 Banquet Address share the same title. If you have
it it would be an audio presentation. I'm not sure if a video was made. I
was still in grade school when Dr. Jernigan gave that address so can't claim
to be an eye witness to that piece of our history.

Peter: Are you certain of the title? I have found a videotape called
"Blindness: New Insights on Old Outlooks." It look s like it was
produced in 1980 and is an interview of Kenneth Jernigan by Scott
McCall, intended for use in training flight attendants at Delta..

Hello Ed,

While you're at it can you research the 1969 Banquet Speech. Once
the
audio of that speech is posted to the NFB AV Center all of Dr.Jernigan's

Banquet Addresses can be heard as well as read online. The 1969 Banquet
Address is called "Blindness: New Insights on Old Outlooks."

Tina:

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. As a result of your email,
we're now looking for a complete copy to replace the one that's
currently on the website. I'll let everyone on this list know if and
when it's been mounted.

With Federationist greetings,

Ed Morman

Does anyone out there have a copy of the 2002 banquet address they have
digitized? I know that National has it on their site, but the recording
is incomplete. If you've digitized that speech, please e-mail me
privately and let me know how I can receive it. If you're able to share
the file through one of the file sharing services, that would be really
cool. So if anyone has this speech, please e-mail me privately. Thanks.
