Ray, Peter, and all other who are interested in the digital Walking
Alone:

I have been told that there is actually a digital version here at the
national center, but that it's not marked up at all. I appreciate the
interest several of you have shown in undertaking the digitization. I
do not wish to discourage anyone from doing it.

I will be back on the list with further news, as I find out more about
the status of this work.

The way I do it, there would be not much, if any quality loss at all.
I'd
love to try my hand at it.

Steve:

I appreciate your concern

For the moment we're basically looking for a shortcut for the Leadership
Seminars. It took my assistant, Tim Jones, almost a week to make just
fifteen copies on cassette. This is just a very short-range solution.
I promise that in the medium range we will produce a digital version we
all can be proud of.

Ed,

While a digital version from a cassette copy is going to be better than
nothing, there is likely going to be some quality loss when compared
with the original. Don't we
have the original yet? Probably a stupid question, right?

Best regards,
