Peter:

I would *strongly* advise that you consult with Dr. Maurer and also the
personscharing thecommittees whose seminars you wish to record before
attempting to set up speakers of your own (and yes, I know they won't be
hooked to thehotel's system).

Hello everyone,

So far I'll be recording the National Association of Blind Office
Professionals Meeting along with the Seminar for Spanish Speakers, The
Writers' Division Meeting and the Employment Committee Seminar. And I can't
forget the National Association of Blind Veterans Meeting. The NFBVA and
NABOP Meetings will be new for me this year. I'm also bringing in new
equipment as well. I expect to order a new set of speakers later this week
to provide an in-room sound system should one not be available. That's the
lineup for me thus far.

Tina:

There is some digital archiving already going on. I've sent two NFB of
Washington convention recordings plus a bunch of Diabetes Action Network
seminars to the JTB.

As for recordings, I plan to record the Diabetes Action Network seminar
again this year. Don't know what else, if anything, I'll record yet.

Man, this list has been dead.

It's getting near Convention time again. I plan to record the membership
committee, Communications Committee, and Stream user group sessions for
certain this year, along with this year's meeting of the Living History
group. What have others been planning on?

Also, the web site for the Living History group has not yet been happening.
Is anyone taking that on?

Finally, has there been any more news about digital archiving of NFB
materials? Have we been able to get the grant to help make that happen?
Thanks.
