[NFB-History] Interesting history book

Hello Friends:

 

     This list has been too quiet. 

I just read a book entitled: The ingenious Yankees by Frances and Joseph
Gies. It is available from NLS. Chapter 23 may be of interest because it
discusses the invention of the typewriter. Among items cited are references
to devices for use by the blind. There are other historical books on NLS by
Frances and Joseph Gies. Bookshare also has some titles. Hope this is of
interest.
