Hi again Ramona.
That's right! If I could of, I would have ridden.
I have been through a very very tough time, with my pain pump failure, that
almost killed me last June.
I now have a new pump as of February, and am getting better.
I will never ride a bike again because the doctors tell me that my
shoulders are so brittle, that if I fall off the bike and land on one of
them, they will shatter much like glass would, nice huh!
My heart is always with the bike ride in any case.
How much money did it do, and how many riders?
I have been doing what I can through the computer when things come along
from the n if be nationally.
After 28 years have past, one afternoon this fall someone rang my doorbell
and knocked on my door loudly.
I thought, what the hell is that?
I went and opened the door and someone said "Hi Bill."
Believe it or not, Ramona, it was Bran Smith.
Remember Bran? He was the guy that left with me to start on my second half
of my walk from here.
It have been 28 years since I heard from Bran.
He now owns and runs, and fly's his own hot air balloon company.
It was sure good to see him.
Bill
