[NFB-Idaho] Fred Riggers Disability Awareness Day

Hosted by the Consortium of Idahoans with Disabilities (CID) Fred Riggers Disability Awareness Day is celebrated at the Idaho state capital building each legislative season. The event is in its 25th year and will be recognised on January 29th from 9:00 to 2:00. 
The capital will be an Aira Access Site, sponsored by the Disability Action Center NW,  and explorers are encouraged to: explore the exhibits of resources available to Idahoans with disabilities; to  explore the capital or take advantage of tours offered all day; and to stop in and visit with your representatives and take a moment to share about the 2019 legislative matters of greatest importance to you. 
At noon Linda Walters, Fred Rigger’s daughter, will speak and and the Marylyn Sword Advocacy  Award will be presented. Details regarding Gov. Little signing the Disability Awareness Proclamation will be forth comming.

Updated Landlord Tenant Laws that will impact PWD,
