Passing this along. This looks like a grate convention. If you have not registered, please do. Our registration count for this year is down from last year, so registering is important. Following the convention, I will get a full list of all who have registered. This will allow me to let you know of other activities during the year that our affiliate does, including our state convention, book club announcements, social gatherings over Zoom and hopefully, eventually, in-person etc.

LOL Comedy Night, July 5

7:30 - 9:30 PM Eastern: The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland, the host affiliate for the 2021 National Convention, is proud to host the first-ever NFB LOL Comedy Night. The master of ceremonies for the event is Marilee Talkington <https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=21988&qid=5651325> , an acclaimed blind actor who recently appeared onscreen in the Apple TV Plus adventure drama See. Nine blind contestants will present comedy material to an audience of convention attendees, who will then vote, American Idol-style, for the winner. One Voice #NFB21 Concert, July 6:

The National Federation of the Blind and our Performing Arts Division are hosting a fundraiser concert on July 6, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern during the 2021 National Convention.
