Orientation to the hotel

You will enter the hotel through two doors which automatically slide open.
Once you have passed through both doors you will walk straight approximately
10 feet when you will find the hotel registration desk to your left. (To
your right is a sitting area.)

When you are finished checking in at the registration desk, turn putting the
desk to your left and walk maybe 5 feet and turn right. To go to the
elevator. This walkway angles a little to the left. There will be a sitting
area to your left and you will pass the snack station to your right. You
should hear the motors of the refrigerated cases. You will soon come to the
elevators. There are two of them but only the one on the right is in
operation. You will find the call button to the left of that elevator at
the bottom of a column of buttons. As you enter the elevator you will find
the panel of buttons on the right.

When you get to your floor you step out onto a tile floor. Turn left to get
to the carpeted hallway of sleeping rooms. The hospitality room is at the
opposite end of this hallway. (Room 201) There are carpeted stairs at each
end of this hallway. They are not closed off with a door and do not take you
to the lobby. The stairs by the hospitality suite will take you to the spa
and an outdoor patio. At the other end of the hallway stairs will take you
to the Restaurant Patio area. (You will find an ice machine by the elevator)

Now, back in the lobby. If you are in front of the hotel desk--put it to
your left. Walk maybe 20 feet and you will come to a glass door. Inside
that door you are now on carpet. This is called the pre-function area. This
is where the Sensory Safari exhibit will be setup.

With the glass door behind you turn left and you will be walking toward the
Mesa Room. Our convention registration table will be outside this room.
With the Mesa room to your left, walk about 30 feet and turn left. This
will be the convention exhibit area. It is a long wide hallway. Windows
will be on your right. You will be walking along the side of the Mesa Room.
There is a door along here that will take you back into the Mesa Room.
Continuing walking forward and you will come to the Snake River Room also on
your left. Continuing walking down this hallway and you will find a water
fountain. Just past that you will turn left and find the restrooms. The
men’s is on the right and the women’s on the left. You are now at the end of
this hallway.

Now, to get to the restaurant. Have the hotel check-in desk to your right
and just past it before going out the outside doors, you will turn right.
You will walk down a long hallway to the restaurant. When I was there, I
came to a closed door that you entered into the restaurant. The door may
not always be closed.

Dog relief station: When you come into the pre-function area through the
glass doors you can walk straight, and an outside door will soon be on your
right side. Or, from the door of the Mesa Room, you can walk straight across
the pre-function room to the outside door.

Exit through that door and walk straight a few steps when you will have to
turn left. Walk a few more steps and you will turn right. Continue straight
and a grassy area with bags and trash can will appear on your right.
