 Hi,
Does your son have any blindness skills at all, such as  cane travel using a white cane, braille reading and writing, using a screen reader on a computer, using his nonvisual senses (touch, listening, smell, etc) to orient and find people and things in his environment? 
Does he do regular chores around the home? Have a little part-time job?
What state do you live in or what city/town do you live near? 
Did your son attend school I person prior to the pandemic? 

Have you checked out the National Federation of the Blind website at nfb.org. They have a lot of information for parents and families with blind youth. They also have a division called the National Organization of Parent of Blind Children (NOPBC), which is full of tons of parents/grandparents who could offer you a lot of support and links for resources. You can find them at nfb.org and look for nopbc or a link to NFB Divisions. They also have an active facebook group page. If you are on facebook, just do a search for the group called NOPBC.

My son (grandson) is a 17 1/2 year old with very few ILS. We are sighted grandparents living in isolation with our blind, immune compromised son and could really use training films, virtual ILS training, etc.
