I once purchased an older instant pot because I read that one could connect it to your wifi and then the controls could be manipulated using voice over on my iPhone. However, I ordered it and before it arrived, I updated the iOS on my iPhone. I could not get my iPhone connected to the wifi and instant pot after several hours that included having my sighted husband helping out. I finally called the Instant Pot company in Canada. They finally told me that model of Instant Pot did not work with the new iOS that I upgraded to. So that's a major problem with devices that are only accessible through your wifi. I'll never do that again.

What I did soon find out, however, is that I only use about 4 buttons on my instant pot. So with sighted help, I labeled them in braille. And now usually I can operate the instant pot with no help.  The buttons I consistently use on IP are: manual pressure, warm, saute, and the up and down buttons to change time or temperature. And once the IP goes off, if you turn down the temp or time to the lowest setting, then you will remember where it is the next time you use it.
