Do these labels come on a sheet? Does the braille stick out good?

Also, you can get 100 4x2 waterproof labels with extremely good adhesive for about $10.00 from Amazon; good results on jam jars, and expected good results on freezer stuff. When I was removing all the edging that's typically on the sheets, sometimes a label would accidentally come off, and the adhesive was so good that, if it accidentally bound to itself, you couldn't un-do it1 So, if you're careful in placing a label on your item, it is spectacular! I'm pretty sure it's clear, because it is very, very smooth. I think those could be cut for a variety of applications, food and otherwise. Good luck!
Sandra

I have had the same problem with dymo tape in recent years. It falls off any surface!
I purchase Braillables from American Printing Hourse for the Blind. They are clear sheets (either card or full page size) with adhesive on the back. You can braille them on a slate or braille writer.
There are also sheets of clear plastic with adhesive backs from NFB Independence Market.
I forgot which is cheaper. Both of these stay stuck on better.
And I only braille one or 2 characters on labels for my oven, like "t" for time, "c" for cancel, "a" for alarm, etc.
Good luck
Debbie

Hello, I'm new to this list. I purchased a stove that has a touch pad. I created braille labels using Dymo tape. For the last few years, the Dymo tape I have purchased hasn't worked to well. Many times, after placing the label on something, it will become lose. Then when I slightly drag my finger on the touch pad to locate a particular label, the label falls off. Is there a very good Dymo tape I can purchase? Where would I buy it? Or is there something else I could do to mark the various spots on the touch pad? Also, I mark my credit cards and bus card. Same thing many times the labels fall off. Thanks, Kevin
