There are a few on-line sources of remote teaching around – but kitchen stuff is ideal for hands-on. You will have to see what training options their might be in your area, or find a mentor to help you. Lots of blind people do cook though, so good luck!

The Board of Education and Services for the Blind (BESB) has rehab teachers. I'm not a senior - I'm 37.
I use a coffee maker and microwave, too, but not anything else on your list.

My Mother showed me some stuff when I was a kid and young adult. I watched other people and just tried. I have or do use, microwave, stove, oven air fryer, food processor, blender, charcoal grill, gas grill, wood pellet smoker, gas smoker, wood/charcoal smoker, coffee maker, and other things I am probably forgetting.
Is there any kind of agency in your area that provides training to blind people, or are you a senior.
People are intimidated by cooking, but it is done safely every day!

Hi
I have been totally blind since birth and have no cooking experience, except in the microwave. How did all of you learn to cook, and what equipment do you use? I would be especially interested in hearing from those blind since birth. If you wish to contact me privately, my e-mail address is
